Girl suffers ‘significant’ throat injuries in Rules Beach motorbike crash
A rescue chopper has been called to a coastal Central Queensland property where a girl has suffered ‘significant’ throat injuries after riding a motorbike into a wire fence.

A girl has suffered “significant” throat injuries after riding a motorbike into a wire fence at a Central Queensland property.
Emergency crews were called to a private property at Rules Beach in the Gladstone region about 11.35am on Sunday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the girl was in her early teens.
“We have got a (rescue) helicopter on the way,” the QAS spokeswoman said.
“She (the girl) has got significant throat injuries.”
In a later update, the ambulance spokeswoman said the girl was eventually transported by road to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
