A 10-year-old girl is in hospital with serious head and abdominal injuries after being hit by a car on Brisbane’s southside.

A girl is in serious condition following being struck by a car in Brisbane this morning.
Critical care paramedics rushed to the scene on Fegen Drive in Moorooka at 1.07pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the 10 year-old girl sustained head and abdominal injuries as a result of being hit by the car.
“She’s been taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in serious condition,” he said.
