This will be an exciting campaign, marked by the Future Tourism event lunch at Howard Smith Wharves on Thursday, June 13.

Today, it was revealed that tourism bosses want to get visitors who already pass through Queensland to stay longer by offering more activities and making it easier to get around the state.
Queensland’s market share of foreign visitors has fallen sharply in the last 15 years.
The Future Tourism campaign is the latest iteration of the successful Go Queensland series, with a raft of achievements to improve the state’s economy.

The campaign, supported by Tourism and Events Queensland, Tourism Australia, The Star Entertainment Group and Brisbane Marketing, with series partners Howard Smith Wharves, Urbis, PwC, South East Council of Mayors, Seven News and Sky News, will run from today until June 21 in the print editions of The Courier-Mail and The Sunday Mail as well as on couriermail.com.au.
