When you think back to your schooling career, at least one teacher springs to mind that really stood out.

The Chronicle asked our Facebook followers to nominate their top teachers and the responses were outstanding.

We received 27 nominations from readers across the Fraser Coast telling us who their favourite teacher was.

Donna Johnstone: I couldn’t single one out, ALL the teachers at FCAC are amazing and go above and beyond

Paula Peterson: Miss Shelley Jackson from Howard State School- she goes above & beyond for all her students.

Olivia Arthur: Too many to choose – but for my kids love of music and support they have received – Stuart Gilliard, Anneliese Salisbury, and Paul Brindley

Fadia Atamech: Dianne McRae from Torbanlea State School is the Best Teacher not only in Fraser Coast but in all of Australia.
