Three teens arrested after alleged Wondunna assault and theft
Three 15-year-olds have been arrested after allegedly assaulting and stealing the property of a 13-year-old boy at Hervey Bay.

Three teenagers have been arrested after allegedly assaulting a 13-year-old boy and stealing property in Wondunna on Monday, and posting footage on social media of the attack.
Police allege the three boys, all aged 15, met at a Wondunna address where they allegedly stole a mobile phone and a small amount of cash from the 13-year-old, they said in a statement.
One of the boys, who police said were know to each other, allegedly filmed the incident and posted the video to social media.
The youth was sent to hospital after receiving non-life-threatening injuries from the alleged attack.
The Maryborough Child Protection Investigation Unit arrested two boys on Tuesday, October 29 and another today, October 30.

Two 15-year-old Point Vernon boys have been dealt with under provisions of the Youth Justice Act, and the third 15-year-old from Kawungan has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and deprivation of liberty.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Hervey Bay Children’s Court on Monday, November 4.
