Teen sentenced for lashing out after wild twerking antics
The court heard she kicked out at officers and smeared food on the watch house wall after being arrested twice in two nights

A woman's wild twerking caught the attention of police when they walked into a McDonald's restaurant and witnessed her out of control behaviour.
Layla Cheyne North, 18, pleaded guilty to a number of charges when she appeared before Hervey Bay Magistrates Court, including public nuisance, wilful damage and assaulting and obstructing police.
The court heard North was at Dalby McDonalds about 12.30am on November 20 when, in an intoxicated state, she performed a handstand at the entrance of the restaurant.
She then began "shaking her bottom", police prosecutor Sonia Edwards said, in a motion that is commonly known as twerking.
In addition to that, North placed her dirty shoes on a counter and grabbed a mop and started mopping the floor.
Police walked into the restaurant and saw her behaviour.
North then attempted to lock herself in a rest room before being arrested.
Just a day later, North again came to the attention of police.
Police were called to a disturbance at a car park near Dalby's Criterion Hotel.
North became verbally abusive towards police and was arrested.
Later when North was offered a meal at the watch house, she smeared the food on the walls of her cell before using wet toilet paper to cover the CCTV camera.
When police came to move her to another cell, she kicked out at the officers.
The court heard North had been uncooperative with police both times she was arrested.
Defence lawyer Michael Riedel said his client had no criminal history and had been struggling with personal issues at the time of the offending.
North was fined $1000 and was sentenced to 40 hours of community service.
No convictions were recorded.
