Teen flown from Fraser Island after vehicle pedestrian incident

A man in his late teens has been flown from Fraser Island after a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

A man in his late teens has been flown from Fraser Island following reports a vehicle has hit a pedestrian.

The incident at Ngkala Rocks happened just after 2.40pm on Saturday afternoon, with the Rescue 500 chopper transporting the teen off the island.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the young man was transported in a stable condition to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital with pelvic injuries.
