Former Fraser Coast teacher John Vincent Lewis will face court next month charged with five counts of indecent treatment of a child under 12.
An indictment was presented to Hervey Bay District Court on Monday in relation to the indecent treatment matters.
The matter was adjourned to the November 8 sitting of the district court.
No plea has been entered.
