Second scooter crash on Fraser Coast in as many days
A teen has suffered head injuries after crashing into a tree in what is the second incident involving a scooter on the Fraser Coast in as many days.

A teenager has been taken to hospital with a head injury after a scooter crash at the corner of Fraser St and the Esplanade at Torquay.
The crash happened just before 1pm when the scooter the teenager was riding hit a tree, a spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said.
The teenager suffered a head injury in the crash, with emergency services attending.
The teenage was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
It is the second scooter crash in the space of as many days on the Fraser Coast.
On Sunday a patient was transported to Maryborough Hospital after a collision between a scooter and a vehicle at the intersection of Orleander Dr and Gympie Rd in Tinana.
It was a busy weekend for emergency crews, with a pedestrian suffering serious head injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Kawungan and a man suffering spinal injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Maryborough-Hervey Bay Rd.
