Rural homeowners have been urged to ensure they secure their sheds and properties after five reports of break and enters near Gunalda and Tiaro.

Between September 9-12, 2002, an offender gained entry to a property on Talegalla Weir Road, Talegalla, and rummaged through cupboards and other rooms, stealing personal items, police have reported.

Between September 7-9, offenders went to an address on Neerdie Road, Gunalda, causing damage to the sheds and property.

During the same period, offenders attended another address on Neerdie Road and cut padlocks to gates and storage sheds.

Between September 6-12, offenders attended a property on Bauple-Woolooga Road, Glen Echo, gained entry to a shed and stole an electric pump.

Between September 7-8, offenders attended a property on Reads Road at Anderleigh, and gained entry to a shed, stealing a number of electrical items.
