Urangan takeaway shop worker robbed at knifepoint

A takeaway shop worker has fallen victim to an armed holdup involving a man with a knife who robbed a Hervey Bay business.

Police are investigating the armed holdup of a Hervey Bay business.

The incident happened in Urangan on April 19 at a takeaway store at Sugar Coast Village.

About 7pm, one male entered the Elizabeth St business with a knife, demanding money from the staff member.

A set of car keys were taken during the holdup.

The offender was reportedly dressed in black and wearing a balaclava.

Investigators are appealing to those who may have witnessed the incident, to this person or those who may have CCTV of the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
