A Fraser Coast man has been cleared of abuse charges against his former partner in a trial at Hervey Bay District Court.
Lance Douglas Roberts, 53, of Urangan pleaded not guilty to five charges including strangulation and assault.
During the trial, it was alleged he tried to strangle the woman during an ugly fight in 2022.
The court heard testimony from a range of witnesses, including police and the couple’s children.
On Friday, September 1, 2023, a jury found Mr Roberts not guilty of all charges.
