 A young Maryborough woman who started her business when she was just 19 years old, has been voted Best Lash Technician of the Fraser Coast for 2023.

The polls have closed, and Brittany Johnston, the owner of Maryborough’s Addicted to B, has been voted the Fraser Coast’s best lash technician of 2023.

Miss Johnston dominated the poll, claiming 25 per cent of the vote, more than 16 per cent ahead of runner-up Missie-lee Mylonas of After Dark Beauty Bar.

The recognition is the culmination of years of “building up knowledge” through both failing and succeeding for the 26-year-old.

She credits the pride she and her team take in “upskilling” ,which she say is a much-needed attribute to thrive in the competitive sector.

Brittany Johnston opened Addicted to B when she was just 19 years old, in February 2017.

This drive has helped Addicted to B become the success it is today.

Miss Johnston is grateful for the experiences she has had in her 12-year career; those moments have shaped her into the successful business women she is today.
