A popular pet groomer and “awesome mate” is being mourned after he was discovered dead near his beloved BMW bike down a Bruce Hwy embankment.

Tributes have flowed for motorcyclist and pet groomer Terry Nash who went for a ride on his beloved BMW and never came home.
Dozens have shared their heartbreak over the loss of ‘Nashy’ who was the long-time owner of Totally Clips Pet Grooming in Bundaberg.
“He was an awesome mate and will be missed by my family,” friend Lloyd Stewart told the NewsMail.
“Fly high Nashy, I’ll miss you bro,” another mourner said.
The tragic update follows the family’s days-long search for answers.
Reports indicate Mr Nash left Gympie at 10.30pm on Wednesday to ride his motorbike to Bundaberg, police said.
When he failed to arrive, his family raised the alarm.
On Friday afternoon a helicopter spotted the motorbike down an embankment off the Bruce Highway at Bauple.
Ground crews attended the scene and discovered Mr Nash’s body.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who saw the Black BMW motorcycle headed north on the Bruce Highway on Wednesday night or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to contact police.
Meanwhile, more tributes continued to flood Facebook on Saturday.
Gareth Williams wrote “Taken too soon Nashy” while Christopher Dalton said “We will miss you Tex”.
Lloyd Stewart said “RIP brother - until we meet again”, Susan Simons posted that when she saw a picture of the black BMW online, she’d hoped it wasn’t him and wrote “Rest peacefully Terry”.
“RIP Terry so sad... condolences to all the family such a lovely guy,” Lenise Maree wrote.
Tom Jansson said he was “heartbroken” and Daniel Roll wrote “Rest peacefully brother”.
