A man was rushed to hospital in a serious condition with head injuries after an assault near a hotel in Tinana overnight.
The man, aged in his 50s, was allegedly assaulted on the corner of Gympie Rd and McGregor St near the Tinana Hotel at 11.16pm, Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman said officers were called to a disturbance near the hotel.
“A man was injured during the incident and was transported to Maryborough Hospital,” she said.
