Man dead in serious Bruce Highway crash at Duckinwilla

More details have emerged after a man was found dead after a car crashed into a tree on the Bruce Highway near Torbanlea.

A person was killed in a single vehicle crash at Duckinwilla, near Torbanlea, some time on Friday morning.

Police are urging any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a fatal traffic crash at Duckinwilla near Torbanlea.

About 5.50am on Friday, a motorist on his way to work located a white 1996 Nissan Pathfinder that had crashed into a tree on the Bruce Highway.

On inspection of the vehicle by the motorist, a 71-year-old man from Howard was found dead inside.

Police attended and commenced investigations into the crash.
