Krystle Geraldin Fleming in court for drugs offences

A mum of two has faced court after police raided her home and found a gram of cannabis and more than a gram of MDMA.

A police raid on a Hervey Bay home resulted in a woman being convicted of drug offences.

Krystle Geraldin Fleming pleaded guilty to possessing utensils or pipes used in connection with a drug, and to two counts of possessing dangerous drugs when she faced Maryborough Magistrates Court.

The court heard on May 4, 2023, police raided Fleming’s home in Hervey Bay, finding one gram of cannabis and 1.03 grams of MDMA, as well as a pipe.

Duty lawyer Morgan Harris said Fleming was able to pay a fine and was receiving a carer’s benefit.

Fleming had a young daughter with special needs as well as a young son.

The the drugs were for personal use and she had been cooperative with police, the court heard.

Fleming was fined $800 and a conviction was recorded.
