Soldiers Hill woman arrested after police raid on Havelock St home
Police have made a dent in an ongoing investigation, seizing a commercial quantity of drugs and weapons from a Ballarat home.

Commercial quantities of drugs allegedly imported from China and numerous stolen goods have been seized as part of an ongoing investigation in Ballarat.
Detectives executed a warrant at a Havelock St property on Wednesday about 1pm.
Criminal Investigation Unit detectives and officers from the Division Response Unit allegedly found a trafficable quantity of alleged 1, 4 Butanediol, believed to have been imported from China.
1, 4 Butanediol is used as a source of GHB.
Police also uncovered an allegedly stolen off-road trailer and annex along with two reverse cycle air conditioning units allegedly stolen during a burglary in Castlemaine.
Sergeant Julie-Anne Newman said a 32-year-old Soldiers Hill woman had been charged with trafficking commercial quantity of drugs, possessing a prohibited weapon and handling stolen goods.
She was remanded in custody to appear before Ballarat Magistrates’ Court later on Thursday.
