An investigation is under way into a suspicious house fire that tore through a home and shed in Dundathu last month.

The home had been converted into a storage facility for Susan River Potting Mixes.

It took four hours for 13 fire crews to contain the blaze after it broke out about 5pm on Thursday, September 28, significantly damaging a house and shed at Dundathu on Maryborough Hervey Road.

No one was physically injured in the blaze.

The fire is being treated as suspicious.

Police from Maryborough Property Crime Unit are appealing to anyone with information in relation to the fire, CCTV or dashcam footage of Maryborough Hervey Bay Road in Dundathu on Thursday, September 28 to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
