A crash emergency is unfolding on the Bruce Hwy where traffic delays are expected near Tiaro.

Emergency crews are racing to a multi-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway between Gympie and Maryborough.

The crash happened on Mayne St, Tiaro about 3pm.

All lanes are impacted and traffic has slowed in both directions.

Six patients are currently being assessed by QAS after it was confirmed the crash was between a truck and car.

A female in her 30s, a male and female in their 40s, two children, and a male in his 50s are all stable with no injuries reported.

All six declined transport to hospital.

Both directions clear as of 4pm.
