A truck driver has been flown to hospital after a crash which shut the Bruce Hwy at Maryborough.

Emergency crews were called to rollover at the Alice St on-ramp about 2am.
As of 7.20am, the highway remained closed at the on-ramp, however south and north bound diversions were in place as work continued to clear the truck and crash debris.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man in his 40s was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with significant leg and arm injuries but in a stable condition.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said two crews were sent to the scene where they found a semi-trailer on its side.

Firefighters went into action with hydraulic gear to help free the man.

The spokeswoman said crews also worked on a small diesel leak for about 30 minutes.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers had left the scene, but investigations were ongoing.

More to come.
