A former Gladstone man fronted a Maryborough court on Monday on a charge of animal cruelty dating back 50 years.
Albert Edwin Pink, 83, had the charge of ill treating a bird briefly mentioned in Maryborough Magistrates Court.
According to court documents, the incident happened at West Gladstone on a date between November 14, 1973, and May 1, 1977.
Mr Pink now lives in Aldershot on the Fraser Coast, the documents read.
The matter was adjourned until December 2, 2024.
