17-year-old arrested for alleged crime spree in Bundaberg and Fraser Coast
A 17-year-old Point Vernon boy will face court for an alleged crime spree that took place in Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and Avoca.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with offences including allegedly breaking into homes, stealing a vehicle and a 120km drive in a stolen vehicle.
Police allege after midnight on January 25, the Point Vernon boy entered a Torquay address and stole a set of keys and a vehicle.
Police say the boy then drove to a Kawungan business on January 28 where he stole property.
The boy is alleged to have then driven nearly 120km to Bundaberg where he broke into three separate businesses in Avoca, stealing and damaging property.
Police allege on January 29 the teenager attended a Kawungan address in the stolen vehicle and stole property.
The boy was arrested on Friday, February 2 and taken to the Hervey Bay Police Station.
There he was charged with two counts each of entering the dwelling and committing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, six counts of fraud, three counts of entering premises and committing, eight counts each of driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s licence and contravening a direction.
The 17-year-old is scheduled to appear in the Hervey Bay Children’s Court later this month.
