On Tuesday, police confirmed investigations into the matter were ongoing and no one had been charged.

“There are no further details at this stage,” a spokeswoman from the Queensland Police Service said.

In a media statement released on Monday, police said they were patrolling Granville at the city’s southeastern edge just before midnight on Thursday, June 27, after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

They soon found the car, a white Holden Commodore, at a Holme St residence, police said.

It was then driven at the officers, colliding with their car, before leaving the scene.

No-one was injured, and the Holden was last seen driving east along Arnaud St.

Police are urging anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident to contact them.
