Man 27, charged over serious Bruce Highway crash at Tinana
A man has been charged over a crash on the Bruce Highway that left a six-year-old girl with serious injuries and others hurt.

A man has been charged over a three-vehicle crash at Tinana that left a six-year-old girl fighting for life in hospital.
The crash happened about 2.15pm on the Bruce Highway on Monday.
The 27-year-old New South Wales man was allegedly behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4 when it crashed with a Nissan Dualis and Isuzu D-Max travelling in the opposite direction.
Four people travelling in the Nissan Dualis were transported to Hervey Bay Hospital with significant injuries and lacerations, including a six-year-old girl who was later flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.
The driver of the D-Max sustained minor injuries and was not transported to hospital.
The 27-year-old man driver of the RAV4 has been charged with one count of driving without due car and attention causing grievous bodily harm.
The man was released on bail and is due to appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court on April 22.
A woman was left in a serious but stable condition with abdominal and chest injuries and was flown to Bundaberg Hospital.
A man in his 50s and another young girl were transported to Hervey Bay Hospital with minor injuries.

There were two other patients with “minor injuries” that declined transport to hospital, authorities reported.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service was on site securing the scene and assisting paramedics.
Traffic was left at a standstill on the Bruce Hwy with the highway closed between Eatonvale and Alma St, and traffic being diverted through Maryborough before reopening about 5pm on Monday.
