Keep an eye out for the Hornet at morning tea time

FRASER Coast residents will have the amazing sight and sound of an F/A-18F Super Hornet in the sky on Thursday morning as part of Anzac Day commemorations.

FRASER Coast residents will have the amazing sight and sound of an F/A-18F Super Hornet in the sky on Thursday morning as part of Anzac Day commemorations.

The jet is due to pass Fraser Island beach at 10.15am and Hervey Bay at 10.40am.

The F/A-18F Super Hornet will fly at speeds between 648kmh and 833kmh and maintain an altitude above 500 feet.

Four Super Hornets will conduct a number of fly-pasts over southern Queensland and local areas as part of Anzac Day commemorations.
