Hervey Bay man in hospital after car hits fence and Urangan home

A man in his 50s was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital after his car ploughed into a concrete wall and then into the front of a house.

QAS said that the crash was believed to have been triggered by a medical episode, and that the man was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.

The car reportedly went through a fence and then collided with the front of the home.

QPS said that the crash was low impact, and that there was no structural damage to the building.

According to QFES, the car’s battery was isolated as a precaution and the car was towed away around 2.30pm.
