Four treated after serious crash in Urangan

A woman has suffered serious injuries and a child has also been treated by paramedics after a crash in heavy rain at Hervey Bay.

Emergency services have attended a serious crash in Urangan on Saturday.

The crash happened at the intersection of Hansen Rd and Miller St about 1.30pm.

Paramedics treated four patients at the scene, two women in their 20s, a child and a person with a hip injury.

One of the women in their 20s was uninjured, a spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said, while the other had suffered abdominal injuries and was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Two other patients were also transported in a stable condition with minor injuries.
