A motorcyclist has suffered a significant chest injury in a crash at Torquay.
The crash happened when a car and motorcycle collided on Barnstaple St about 5.44pm.
A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said the man had been treated at the scene by paramedics, including critical care paramedics. before being taken to Hervey Bay Hospital.
The man was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
