Maryborough Music Conference brings 500 delegates to city

On Thursday, the public gala concert will be held showcasing four incredible ensembles, providing exceptional entertainment for music enthusiasts of all ages.

This event will bring together international and nationally renowned conductors, along with more than 200 skilled musicians, as they join forces to celebrate the immense talent of our world-class music educators.

Fraser Coast Regional Councillor Phil Truscott said he was excited about the conference and its positive impact on the local economy.

“Hosting a conference of this magnitude is a fantastic opportunity for Maryborough,” he said.

“Not only does it showcase our city as a thriving cultural destination, but it also brings substantial economic benefits to our community.

Almost 500 delegates from across the country have gathered this week for the Maryborough Music Conference.

“With nearly 500 delegates visiting the region, local businesses, accommodation providers, and hospitality venues are sure to see a significant boost in revenue.”

The Gala Concert will run from 7pm to 10pm on July 6.
