We put the call out to our readers to nominate the Fraser Coast’s best personal trainer and received hundreds of responses online.

We can now reveal, as voted by our readers, Ali Bennett, the owner of Allied Fitness in Pialba, is the Fraser Coast‘s best personal trainer for 2023.

Mrs Bennett dominated the poll, gaining 27 per cent of the votes, 14 per cent more than runner-up Josh Hoodless of LIFT.

To Mrs Bennett the win is recognition of a generation of work within the fitness sector that started in 2005 when she started as a group fitness instructor after completing a dual degree in Bachelor of Dance and Education.

Since taking over Allied Fitness in 2017 with her former business partner and being sole trader since 2022, she says “I have created and continue to build a community and atmosphere for everyone”.

Her belief in their product is the reasons behind its success, she said.

“I love helping people feel better about themselves.

“It is the most incredible thing to see them achieve their potential both physically and mentally.

“I get to live and work my dream job as a career.”
