From nannies and nurses to electricians and machine operators, with more than 300 positions up for grabs across the region, there’s no better time to start job hunting.
The Fraser Coast Jobs Hub, which is backed by the council, is listing 333 positions – and more positions are being added daily.
Some of the jobs include au pairs, nannies and housekeepers to help look after children for about 20-30 hours a week, while other positions include electricians and machine operators in Maryborough.
There are vacancies in health and community services, such as a Chief Operations Officer position at Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, and dedicated volunteers who are needed at St Stephens Hospital.

Other job advertisements are targeted at teachers who are needed in various schools across the region, and fast-food-giant Red Rooster is also looking for an assistant restaurant manager in Hervey Bay.
Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour noted many of the current vacancies on Fraser Coast Jobs Hub were in the hospitality and health industries.
“There’s quite a range of jobs in different fields at the moment going, whether it’s tourism or community services,” Mr Seymour said.
“The Fraser Coast Jobs Hub is about bringing all those jobs together so people can see what’s available and to help employers to fill those positions.”
Having spoken with a number of local employers, Mr Seymour said many of them were having trouble filling positions.
He also said one of the “peculiarities” was having people who were unemployed, yet also having so many employers who were needing to reduce hours as they were struggling to fill positions.
On Tuesday, November 8, about 100 jobs were on offer in both the Hervey Bay and Maryborough areas.
Some of the positions even extend to Childers and Bundaberg.
Mr Seymour said a key role for government going forward was to try and train people in positions where there was demand.
“I really encourage employers to advertise on the Fraser Coast Jobs Hub,” he said.
