The 25-year-old Maryborough man driving the Toyota HiLux was the only person in the vehicle at the time and was not injured.

A Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service spokesman said the 44-year-old woman was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a critical condition with head and chest injuries, and was later transferred to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
