Hundreds have visited the Fraser Coast Show on Thursday ahead of the show holiday as the event celebrates a massive milestone.
This year marks the show’s 150th year and it’s bigger and better than ever, with an array of events and displays at Maryborough Showgrounds.
From equestrian events to sideshow alley, cake competitions, the region’s biggest pumpkin, livestock displays and rides, there’s plenty to see and do.
Hundreds of people took in the show’s exhibits on Thursday, while thousands are expected to pour through the gates on Friday.
Thursday was very much about the schoolkids, with lots of groups taking the chance to take in the fun of woodworking and enjoy the petting zoo.
