Thousand of people have streamed through the gates of the Fraser Coast Show on Friday, soaking up the fun of the rides, eating dagwood dogs and cotton candy and taking in the various displays.
On Friday, the show holiday gave people across the region the chance to attend the show.
There were some parking difficulties, and at one stage traffic backed up on the Bruce Hwy before the turn off to Maryborough Showground, but families and other visitors were not put off by the delays.
With dozens of displays and plenty to see and do, schoolchildren made up most of the numbers on Thursday.
Guy McLean, an internationally renowned horseman, also performed in front of the grandstand.
With a petting zoo, vintage tractor pull and displays of poultry, flowers, cake decorating, vegetables, fruit and more, there was plenty for families to enjoy.
