Prominent Extinction Rebellion activist Emma Dorge was also arrested this morning, but later unarrested after being taken to the Brisbane Watchhouse, her lawyer Justin Sibley said.
Mr Sibley said Ms Dorge had only been arrested for allegedly breaching a previous bail condition that she was not to go into the CBD.
Her bail conditions had previously been amended and that condition no longer applied, Mr Sibley said.
“It appears there was a misunderstanding and police thought she was still on that condition,” Mr Sibley said.
He said she was not arrested for any activity at today’s protest and she spent only a brief time in the Watchhouse.
