The backers of a $72m residential project in Ash Barty’s beloved neighbourhood have prereleased the first tranche of 15 terrace homes to market.
Azure – the developers behind the Oakmont project – said the official retail launch would be next month, but an off-market campaign was now starting for potential buyers to register interest in the Signature Collection.

The 15 terrace residences in the prerelease are part of the Signature Collection, with the firm appointing YPM Group to sell all 61 homes that will be created on the eighth hole of the Greg Norman-designed Brookwater golf course.
Brookwater, which is famously home to tennis superstar Ash Barty, is a premium residential golf enclave with Oakmont set to be a carefully planned community of residences with loads of amenities.
YPM group director Bryce O’Connor said Oakmont was set to bring an incomparable product to the market which he expects to be a hit with owner-occupiers.
“This development will set a new benchmark in Brookwater, bringing opulence and highly sought-after residences that are particularly rare in the prestige market,” he said.
Azure director Trent Keirnan said they saw great value in the rare and enviable site and were committed to transforming it into a residential masterpiece that met the expectations of discerning buyers, while remaining true to the Azure brand.
“A striking interpretation of European neoclassical architecture, Oakmont favours classical, clean lines on a grand scale,” he said.
“In true Azure style, the use of a refined and restrained material palette distinguishes Oakmont’s avant-garde aesthetic within the rich Brookwater landscape.”
Development approvals for Oakmont were secured in March this year with construction set to begin in February 2025. The luxury estate is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The two-level Signature Collection residences will feature four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a powder room, multipurpose room, study and two-car garage.
Mr Keirnan said the terraces would be rendered in clean, classic white with dark metal accents to bring texture and articulation to each home.
“The collection is quintessentially Azure, marrying classic and contemporary architectural influences to sit uniquely within the natural landscape,” he said.
Inside, the main bedroom will have a walk-in wardrobe and large ensuite with a bathtub. Features in the kitchen include a walk-in pantry, integrated fridge and dishwasher, and Ilve appliances.
A display suite will open at 3 Birchwood Cres, Brookwater, and be in operation from the end of this month.
“The Signature Collection seeks to distinguish itself even further, with these exclusive residences including direct, expansive views over the golf course and members-only gated entry,” Mr Keirnan said.
“Oakmont’s exclusive amenities sprawl over more than 2000sq m and include world-class wellness facilities designed to help nurture residents’ mind, body and spirit.”
There will be a resort-style 20m pool, poolside lounging options, hot and cold plunge pools, sauna, steam room, fitness centre and communal lawn.
Azure has a $1.3bn pipeline in South East Queensland, with six projects under construction.
