A woman has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a multi-vehicle collision in Ipswich.

A woman has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a multi-vehicle collision in Ipswich on Wednesday evening.

Paramedics rushed to Sandstone Boulevard in White Rock at 6:31pm following reports of a two-vehicle collision.

Three people were treated at the scene.

A woman in her 20s was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition was lacerations to her head and abdominal injuries.

A second woman in her 20s was taken to the Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.

A third patient was a man in his 40s and he was in a stable condition.
