Dashcam captures horror crash on Hale St, Paddington as driver speeds through traffic

Shocking footage of a motorist attempting a high-risk manoeuvre on a busy Brisbane road has been captured on a dashcam.
A black Toyota Celica sedan was seen on dashcam speeding through lanes of traffic when the car collided with two fellow motorists on Hale St near Suncorp Stadium on Friday night around 9.45pm.
It was shared on social media through Dash Cam Owners Australia, attracting hundreds of comments.
A white hatchback was hit as its driver was manoeuvring towards an nearby exit and was thrust into the barricade before rolling several times and landing on its side.
A blue hatchback was also hit by the sedan but managed to stay on the road.
Facebook commenters were stunned by the footage.
“OK was not expecting that. Hope everyone was OK... ,” one commenter wrote.
“Just minding your own business then all hell breaks loose,” another wrote.
“What was the hoon thinking there?” a fellow commenter said.
“Definitely no gap there mate,” said another.
Four patients were taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in stable condition with minor injuries following the crash.
Police have issued a traffic infringement notice to a 19-year-old Moorooka driver and are investigating the incident.
