Voice referendum early voting now available across southwest Queensland

Hundreds of Queenslanders have attended polling centres around the state as early voting opens for the Voice referendum ahead of October 14. See where you can vote early around the southwest here.

With pre-polling now underway in all states across the country, hundreds of Australians have made their way down to the nearest voting booth ahead of the Indigenous Voice referendum on October 14.

Over the next two weeks voting will be open to the public to determine one of Australia’s most important decisions which could see a body of First Nations representatives elected to assist the federal government in making decision relating to welfare and interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander’s.

Early voting is now available across southwest Queensland and will see multiple locations spanned around the region come the final day of polling.

• Tuesday, October 3 – Friday, October 6 from 8.30am – 5.30pm.
• Saturday, October 7 from 9am – 4pm.
• Monday. October 9 – Thursday, October 12 from 8.30am – 5.30pm.
• Friday, October 13 from 8.30am – 6pm.
• Saturday, October 14 from 8am – 6pm

• Tuesday, October 3 – Friday, October 6 from 8.30am – 5.30pm.
