Queensland Ambulance and Emergency Services has confirmed two women were flown to Toowoomba Hospital after a single-vehicle rollover on Chinchilla-Tara Road late last night.

Police, ambulance and firefighters worked to retrieve and treat four occupants inside a car that rolled off the road after barrelling into a number of trees on Thursday February 23.

A QAS spokeswoman said the crash happened at 10.42pm with two patients, a female teenager and a primary school aged male, treated for minor injuries and sent to Chinchilla Hospital for precautions.

However, two female patients with suspected spinal and neck injuries were transported by LifeFlight rescue helicopter in a stable condition from Tara Airport to Toowoomba Hospital.

A QFES spokeswoman said there were no entrapments and “we confirmed it (the car) was still upright but just off the road.”
