Three people were hospitalised after a kangaroo jumped in front of their vehicle as they travelled through the Western Downs.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a single vehicle crash just after 7pm on Monday, on the Moonie Highway near Southwood.
A woman in her 50s sustained a head injury, while a man in his 30s and a primary school-aged girl both sustained minor injuries, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
All three were taken to Dalby Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Fire crews arrived on scene at 8.15, but the vehicle had come to rest in a safe place off the road and no one was trapped, so they left after 25 minutes, a Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said.
The matter will not be further investigated, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.
