Western Downs police are investigating two separate crimes, potentially committed by the same suspect that occurred in one night which included the offender ramming through a shopfront with their car and setting another vehicle on fire.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said between 5pm on November 22 and 7am on November 23, the offender drove a vehicle through the front of Pets Domain in Dalby located on Marble St.
“(The driver) smashed through the doors and completely destroyed them,” the QPS spokesperson said.
“We have suspects from CCTV, but we’re still working on it.”
It was reported that on November 23 at 1.45am the same car was seen driving into the back of Myall Health precinct, where a Subaru sedan was set on fire and completely destroyed.
Police said the car that was set on fire belonged to Dalby Allied Health.
It was also suggested by police that the person involved in the offences was not a local.
