Police have commenced investigations after a fire tore through a house in Miles.
A fire at the house on the corner of Edith and Wallen streets was reported at about 1.30am on Monday.
Three Queensland Fire and Emergency Services fire crews arrived at the Miles address at 1.37am, where they found a house fully engulfed in flames.
A QFES spokeswoman said two firefighters entered the burning structure with breathing apparatus, with paramedics and police officers on scene.
Fortunately, no occupants were reported in the building or on the property.
The fire was reportedly mostly extinguished by 3.40am.
A fire investigator is still on scene, with the cause of the blaze yet to be determined.
A police spokesman said foul play has not been ruled out.
