Toby Hodges faced Dalby Magistrates Court over alleged break-ins, fire at businesses

A 23-year-old man appeared in court, facing a slew of charged, including arson, after he allegedly set fire to a Dalby business.

A 23-year-old man charged with the alleged arson of a Dalby business had his charges mentioned in Dalby Magistrates Court.

Police charged Toby Hodges with 12 offences on February 15, and appeared in court on the same morning. Police charged the man with arson, two counts of attempted entry, three counts of entering a premises to commit an indictable offence, one count of possessing tainted property, and a total of five drug-related charges.

Police allege the man was responsible for a fire that devastated a Dalby business on February 13, and breaking into neighbouring businesses the same night.

The fire was allegedly started in Dalby’s Graham Henderson Stock and Station Agents on Drayton St in the early hours of the morning on February 13, with neighbouring businesses also reporting alleged attempted break-ins on the same night.

The matter is set to be mentioned again in the Dalby Magistrates Court on April 2. Mr Hodges has not entered a plea to the charges and he was granted bail.
