Devastated loved have been left grappling with shock and grief following the tragic death of a beloved father of eight tragically killed in a shocking crash at Tara.
Axle’s brother, Fallon Wilton, has launched a Go Fund Me to help cover the cost of the funeral.
“He was a good person who would take his shirt off his own back to help anyone,” Mr Wilton said.
“He’ll forever be 31 and forever loved and missed.
“The world is now a darker place.
“He will be dearly missed, especially from his mother and three brothers and sister and his kids.”
Tributes have flowed from across the state in the hours following the devastating incident as friends and family struggle to process the immense loss.
“Axle Wilton why? I'm gonna miss you so much bro,” Selina Payne wrote.
“We’ve been through so much and you’ve helped me through so much. I’m so sorry.”
Kegan Duffy wrote “RIP Axle Wilton. Rest easy my bro”.
Axle’s funeral will be held on July 7.
The forensic crash unit are investigating and are appealing for anyone with dashcam vision of the rider prior to the crash, or any witnesses that have not yet spoken with investigators to contact police.
