Fire crews have responded to a blaze in Dalby

Emergency crews have responded to a garbage fire in Dalby with a home thankfully unscathed.

A single fire truck attended the Dunmore St property about 12.17pm Tuesday afternoon where they found a pile of garbage ablaze in the backyard.

Crews worked quickly and had the fire under control within 10 minutes and the scene was deemed safe.

The property and neighbouring properties were not impacted by the blaze.

Fire services said investigations surrounding the cause of the fire were underway but they believed it had been lit by the homeowners conducting a burn off.
