Man charged after car allegedly crashed into a Wambo St, Chinchilla property
A 21-year-old has been charged after a car allegedly careened into a property, destroying a fence.

A 21-year-old Chinchilla man is set to appear in court after the car he was driving allegedly careened into the fence of a property in Chinchilla.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the man was charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and driving while a relevant drug was present.
“He is due before the Chinchilla Magistrates Court on August 22,” the spokeswoman said.
Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to the Wambo St property just after noon on Monday, July 22, where a vehicle had reportedly crashed into a fence.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police were called at 12.08pm after a car crashed into a fence.
The QPS spokeswoman said the vehicle’s occupants allegedly left the scene.
The vehicle’s driver and passenger had been located as at 2.30pm, the QPS spokeswoman said.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said one crew was tasked to the incident.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said two males in their late teens had facial injuries after the crash.
The QAS spokeswoman said only one of the men was taken to Chinchilla Hospital in a stable condition.
She said the other man declined to be taken to hospital.
