Dalby’s best hair salon for 2023 as voted by the community

Dalby is home to a wide range of successful and thriving hair salons, so it’s no surprise that the votes for this year’s best hair salon poll were extremely close. See who has been crowned the winner here.

From putting in hundreds of foils to ensuring ‘not too much’ is cut off the ends, a good hairdresser is extremely valuable, which was why the race to be crowned Dalby’s best hair salon for 2023 was an incredibly tight one.

Residents voted for their favourite, and Elite Hair Design came out on top.

Manager of the salon Tammy Alderton has owned the business with husband Andrew for 16 years this month.

“It’s pretty awesome to have an accolade,” she said.

“We know we’re doing all right because we’re busy all the time but when you win something like that it sinks in.”

The salon owner credited her “amazing clients” to the success of the salon as well as being a “family orientated” business.

“We try to make everyone happy we do what we can,” she said.

The salon is no stranger to success as resident Lara Krause was dubbed the best hairdresser of Dalby in 2021 following a public poll.

At the time of the massive win Mrs Krause said it was due to the businesses ability to work together that created such a successful environment.

“The only reason we’re as good as we are is because we’re a team,” she said.

“All of the girls in the salon are as good as me, and I feel like your appointment book and how busy you are tells you how good you really are.”
