A mother and business woman has been acknowledged for her work in children’s education on the national stage at a business awards.
The AusMumpreneur Awards for 2023 were held in Sydney last month where hundreds of business women gathered to celebrate each other’s successes.
The Dalby woman won bronze in the ‘People’s Choice - Education’ category as well as bronze in ‘Judge’s Choice - Children’s Education Business of the Year’.
“This is such a new business, I wasn’t expecting anything like that,” she said.
“Things have been really good, we’ve really kicked goals.”
The mother-of-three credited her success to her family and shared it was with her husband’s support that she was able to achieve such goals.
“I couldn’t have done it without my husband Lloyd and that’s the big thing,” she said.
One of the parents who nominated the business owner was Hayley Ackery who said Play Early Learning Centre was one of the best the town has.
“(Sarah’s) interactions are pure and heartfelt. She is a true mumpreneur.”
